On the Grapes

   I saw a female Northern Cardinal trying to nibble a grape with her seed-cracking beak. I got a photograph of the ripening grapes.

   It's that time of year.

    I did not get a photograph of them but two Bluejays visited the grapevines today. A parental bird would pluck a grape and carefully place the grape in the opened beak of the fledgeling. Very, very cute !
